GENERAL INTERESTS
- Mountaineering: I enjoy both rock climbing and walking and have pursued these in the UK, Alps and USA.
- Munroist: climbed all 277 mountains over 3000ft in Scotland in three years.
- Diving: BSAC sports diver, training for dive leader and instructor.
- Travelling: Countries all over the world amaze me from both a cultural and natural history point of view.
- Photography: Each time I visit a wonderful place or see a beautiful scene I have to pull out my camera!
- Circuits: Although I am not a competitive sports person I do enjoy exercise. I generally attend 3 circuit classes a week, but over the University holidays, when the circuits classes stop, I generally run my own for whoever is interested. I also try and swim 2.5 km on a Thursday morning and do a couple of 5-7 mile runs a week.
