I am a Research Fellow in the Solar and Magnetospheric Theory Group at the University of St Andrews. My research is primarily on the structure and evolution of the magnetic fields in the atmosphere of the Sun. From November 2006 to October 2007 I was a postdoctoral research assistant at Armagh Observatory working with Professor Gerry Doyle. My Ph.D. research was performed at St Andrews, during which time I was supervised by Professor Eric Priest. My thesis title was "Topological Structure of the Magnetic Solar Corona".
